Diabetes and Erectile Dysfunction

Diabetes with erectile dysfunction is a chronic diseases associated with aging. More than 25 million Americans may have this very serious disease. Many do not know they affected because they have not yet had symptoms. In most cases, there are no obvious feelings or signs until the blood glucose gradually increases to become high enough to cause fatigue, increased thirst and urination, blurred vision, weight loss, and eventually serious illness.

The actual cause of diabetes (the body fails to produce sufficient insulin to metabolize food properly) is not known. Excellent treatment that can control the symptoms is nowadays available. The best way to prevent diabetes and its complications is a yearly blood glucose control in persons over age 45. A simple blood test for glucose can tell if you are diabetic. The diagnosis of diabetes is made when blood glucose is greater than 126 mg/dl on two rate testing .
